Knitting and Crochet Things

I like to knit and I love to crochet. Now I think the difference here is simply a lack of understanding and experience at knitting. Not that I have much more at crocheting but for some strange reason it seems simpler and easier to work yarn(s) with one stick which has a hook on the end than with two sticks which are longer and have no hooks to assist me. Hmmm, this may be significant in some important way and I have just not figured it out yet. I shall continue in my pursuit however **as time permits** for you see, I have more hobbies than time or talent so that is a problem.

First is a picture of my first attempt at a crochet handbag which I made with and hopefully I will improve as I plug along, right? Hopefully the answer is "yes"!

I am also both a knitter and a crocheter. I agree with you that crochet is easier to work, but I find the more I practice at knit, the easier it gets. Crochet is great for making big things. Knitting is great for designs in smaller things.
